Facts and Information

Can we cook indoors?
Yes, we can spit roast inside. We often cook in hotels and function rooms, sometimes in people's kitchens or in dining rooms. The hog roast machine is gas powered and produces no smoke.

Do we bring it part cooked?
No, we like to cook the food on site as part of the experience. If it is just part of an event we can cook out of sight and then present it at the appropriate time. If required we can cook off site and just serve the food.

How many people does it feed?

One pig - 100 (Formal Dinner) - 100-120 (Buffet) - 150-200 (Snack)

One Lamb - 40 (Formal Dinner) - 40-60 (Buffet) - 70-80 (Snack)

If you have 100-150 people we can do two whole pigs or one whole pig and some joints of pork. For large numbers we can either do more whole pigs/lambs etc or a mixture of joints and whole pig/lamb etc.

Do we just do spit roasts?
No, we provide as much or as little as you require. We can also hire in any extras such as table linen, tables and chairs. Please just let us know when enquiring.

How long does it take to cook?

Pigs take 5-6 hours.
Lamb takes 2-3 hours.
Beef takes 2-3 hours.
Chickens take 2-3 hours.

How many people can we cater for?
We can cater for most groups of people. We have catered for parties ranging from 10 to 2500 guests. There really are no limits.

How much space do we need?
We can work from limited space as little as 10ft sq for just a spit roast or 14ft x 6ft for a standard buffet.

If I only have 50 people can I still have a pig?
Yes, but obviously it works out a little more expensive per head.

How far will we travel?
We cover the whole of the UK.

What do I need to provide?
We are totally self-contained but where possible we like a 13amp power supply and an accessible water point.

What happens if it rains?
We always bring gazebos with us to work and serve under.
